Love Includes Everything - Chapter 34

Riya...

My life was back. I enjoyed each and every moment with my Dani. He made me breakfast and his old teasings and pranks were back. The whole morning we stole little or very long kisses from each other and sat on the couch talking about everything under the blue sky. Then he suddenly asked about our baby. I couldn't stop blushing since I felt too shy in front of him then. He was asking me to tell him about the baby and I couldn't stop laughing. I got off the couch and he pulled me back to him.

"You never told me about our baby. That was a different Dan." He said sounding serious though he was smiling and I couldn't tell yes nor no. I kept looking at him and he kissed me on the lips lightly. "Now common. I'll be in our room reading something. Just come and tell however you want: he said getting up and when I protested he cut me off. "No buts, no nots... nothing doing." He said and went off.

I sat on the couch smiling and laughing to myself like an idiot. I was sure I couldn't do that. But since Dan had asked me to I got up and went to the room where Dan was lying on the bed reading something, likely pretended reading.

"Dan." I called him and he looked up. The next moment we both started laughing like crazy people.
"Okay okay! Enough. Now come again and no laughing." Dan said after we were done laughing but still we both were smiling wide.

I smiled to myself again and went into the kitchen. I stood watching outside from the window and only then I realized what Dan said was completely true. I never told about the baby to my own Dani. Even I wanted to do tell him all over again but had no idea how. I took a deep breadth and went to him again. This time neither he laughed nor I. I went and sat slowly near him and he held me lightly. I laid my head on his shoulder and he pulled me closer to him. It was complete silence for sometime as we sat on the bed. I then pulled back to look at him and he smiled.

"I love you Dani." I said as tears started to show up.
"I love you too." He said pulling me even closer.
"A-am pregnant Dani. With your baby." I said smiling at him and took his hand moving it to my stomach. He stared at my stomach that had started to show up a little by now.

Then he leaned forward and kissed my forehead.
"I couldn't be happier. I would love our baby as I love you and am sorry for my reaction before." He said and his expression turned sad when he said the last words.
"Don't worry about that Dan. That's ok." I said hugging him.

"I know how much that hurt. And when it was from none other than me I know it very well and I can never forgive myself for that." He said burying his head into my shoulder.

"Dan please. I don't want to talk about that anytime." I said hugging him tight.
"And am happy that I got my memory back so that I can be your Dani when you go fully fat and pregnant with a big belly." He said smiling after pulling back.

"Yeah. Am happy too." I said smiling back.
"I wanna baby Riya." He said immediately.
"Nope. I want a baby Dani." I said frowning a little.
"Then when will I see my doll?" He said frowning too.
"Maybe the next one." I said biting my lower lips.
"Oh you wanna next one!... already!" He said looking amused.
"Yup I want a next one and next and next." I said laughing hard.
"Omg! I don't have that much strength." He said laughing too.

And the rest of the days went fine. We had our own works and spent time for each other too. Dan was very much supportive and caring as the months passed by.
"You look huge but still beautiful." He said as I stood near the stove making his favorite coffee.

"I can't wait till the baby is born." I said rubbing it. We didn't want to know the sex till the baby was born. We started picking up names for a boy and a girl. Dan's parents were very much happy to know when we informed them all about Dan's memory being back. We had a small celebration to for that at his hometown. As we were talking I felt my contractions and my water bag broke.

"Dan." I said clutching the cloth I had in pain.
"Hey easy. Easy. Don't worry. Am right here." He said and carried me to the car and we headed for the hospital.

I was at the hospital bed trying to go into labor. The contractions were increasing and I wasn't able to withstand it. Dan was by my side the whole time holding my hands. But my contractions were worse as the doctor said and I was scared to death that something would happen to my baby. After what felt like an eternity, I was into labor and Dan still stood beside me not even leaving me for a single moment.

"I love you. We can do this." He said kissing my forehead and I nodded. There was another sharp contraction and I cried out in pain.
"Just breathe easy Mrs. Rickson." The doctor said but I had a hard time doing that. Again I cried out in pain as tears were flowing down my cheeks.
"Can't you just give her a pain relief?" Dan snapped at the doctor which made me smile through all the pain.
"Am afraid we can't Mr. Rickson." The doctor said again looking calm.
"I'll be fine Dan." I managed to assure him.

"Start pushing now." The doctor said after sometime. I cried clutching Dan's arms really tight and started pushing my baby out. After some pushing, I heard a baby cry and then blacked out.

Hello readers... am happy but sad to tell you all that the next chapter will be the epilogue of, "Love Includes Everything." And I'll be continuing my other story, "A Love to Remember," after finishing this one. I find it really difficult to post both stories at once with all my work up front.
