Love Includes Everything - Chap 2
Dan and riya meet for the first time and feel something different in each others presence......will they meet again???
Our eyes met for a second or two and she turned her head back towards the window....."hey baby you wanna listen to some music?" the guy near me asked the girl opposite to me...I somewhat didn't like him calling her baby and I frowned a little....strange....
Riya....
I felt someone watching me and turned my head just to look at the handsome face....I looked into his brown eyes which was exactly the same shade of mine and felt something different about him....I didn't want to stare at him and get myself embarrassed so I turned my head back to the window.....
He was like the person I always imagined that I would be with...properly combed black hair, straight nose and perfect bow lips....I never hated men...I have a lot of guy friends but not to think about love....I just had an imaginary man to whom I'll get married and live a happily ever after.....I decided to live my marriage only in dreams...."hey baby you wanna listen to some music?" said the guy who was singing out loud.....I didn't like him calling me baby so I gave him a stare and saw Mr. perfect frowning too....I wondered why...."I'll introduce myself properly....I'm greg...n u r...." he extended his hand....I saw Mr.perfect taking greg's hand saying "Daniel rickson...nice meeting you greg....you seem to be a noisy person who likes to disturb everyone"...I couldn't help but smile at the comment....
So Mr. perfect's name is Daniel....I thought the name suited his personality too....now the hand was extended towards me and I didn't have any option but to take it...I introduced myself as Mia since I didn't feel like telling Greg my real name...."um...am gonna get an egg roll from the trolley....do u need something?" Greg asked me to which I said no and he went off after pressing me a lot....
"Um...mia....u seriously look like u need something....do u want me get it for u?".....my name sounded good from his mouth though it was fake....I wondered how riya would sound..."excuse me....hello" he waved his hand in front of me and I got back to my senses...."ya....I would like a get some water...thank you"he smiled at me and was gone....
"Here..." Daniel said handing me the water bottle....I took it and gave him the money for it....he took it without any scene that surprised me coz most men do protest...."arh....so you didn't wanna have water from my hands, did u?" it was Greg again..."what if the water was too noisy like u?"....I saw Daniel smile at me and smiled back....he kinda seemed like a keeper when Greg obviously was a player....
"Nice meeting you Mia...bye" Daniel said to me as we were about head on our own ways...."nice meeting you Daniel....bye"we both smiled and parted....."here comes the girl with no eyes" my younger brother Andrew teased me as I entered my home.... "not as soon as I come in big boy"...he was six yrs younger than me but taller like my parents...I was the shorter one among my cousins and even my mother was an inch taller too....everybody used to tease me as the girl who has no eyes since my eyes are a bit small....but I kinda like it...something that makes me different from others...
"Haha...the girl with...." "stop big bro...plz..."I said to my eldest cousin alphine...."y is tat I always laugh when u r in front of me?"he asked..."because am a laugh or smile fairy" I said hugging him...his wife Jenni came and hugged me saying I was looking beautiful....I rolled my eyes...I really love my entire family....my dad has two elder bros and younger bro and no one will believe that we all live under the same roof with my paternal granny...my mom has only a younger sis married to my dad's cousin and live an hour drive away from our home with her in-laws and both my maternal grandparents....I've seen my family go through a lot and yet they all stood together to keep the family going filled with happiness....I opened my door to my cousins Susan, Vivien and celes....we all shared the same room...."so am the last one....how r u all?" I asked hugging them..."we are good riya and don't you look happy today?" Vivien asked me...."ya...how will I not be...it's been so long since we al got together, right"...we spent the rest of the time laughing and teasing Susan till we heard aunt josephine call us for dinner....
As soon as I came down my long black hair was pulled by someone...I turned to give him a punch coz I never liked anyone touching my hair.... "oh...this girls gone crazy"....my fav cousin Julius shouted still holding my hair...."ya...you can never tell what she'll do"here comes Anton, another cousin....he was a cute and soft spoken guy yet the tallest one....he hugged me bending his 6'2" frame to my 5'3" and we all went for dinner....it was like old times with all laughter and finally I went to bed with my female cousins and talked till we didn't have any energy to talk further....
The morning was awesome and by late afternoon all our other family members came home too...cousins of my cousins, aunts and uncles....wow...I enjoyed being with the entire family especially with my mom's mom celin and aunt stella, my mom's sis....we got suzi dressed in blue...she was looking too gorgeous...."hey you ready?"....Jenni poked her head from the door..."momma I wanna go in"...this was little Samantha wrestling with her mom...."almost done Jenni...will be right back"....celes said and turned to hug her gorgeous sister.."ok..time to go now...we'll have hugging sessions later"....Vivien said as we were about to go...
The engagement party took place in our backyard.....we really did have a big house....the party was on and Susan introduced me to Patrick coz only I didn't see him yet....I was called in the kitchen for something and as soon as I entered I was given a box of cookies to be given to the guests....I rolled my eyes and was answering yes to all the instructions and turned only to bump into strong arms that caught me from falling....

"Am coming pat...now wats the hurry.....can't u be here for sometime?"....I teased my cousin Patrick who was hurrying me up to his engagement party...."you seriously very slow man" he complained...."this is the first time am wearing a tux...so allow me to get used to it"....I said sitting on the couch with my legs crossed..."you can get used to it at the party....now come on its already late"...I sent everyone early so that I could tease Patrick and keep him from Susan for sometime.....he became restless and I raised my eyebrows and we both laughed....I sat behind the wheels and started the engine but it wouldn't start...."see...even this car is against you pat"...."I don worry....if it doesn't start I'll walk to Susan from here"....."you so much in love man....I'll do my best now not to keep you from her"
We arrived at Susan's home where the party is....pat nearly ran to meet Susan....I just smiled looking at him and went near my twin Julia who was cradling her baby girl Amy....we both are best friends....she is married to Patrick's friend josh..."hey you...where is pat....Susan was searching for her"..."really??...pat said we could go late since Susan won't miss him"....."I guess you were terrible with him Dan"....we both laughed..." where is kev?"....he is my elder bro....and before she could answer we were joined by cousin Sheela...."hi Dan..I thought you would pick me up from home...so how are u?"..."am fine Sheela....hope you are too..."I never liked her or the way she dressed....too short or too open....she always tries to get my attention on her....Julia always understood my urge to get away from Sheela....she is the best sis....."go meet Susan Dan...she'll be glad t meet u".... "um...I'll go wash my hands first coz it smells of steering wheels"...."I'll come with you Dan" Sheela said...."no..no...I can find the way"..
I washed my hands, wiped it with a towel placed there and turned when someone bumped into me....I caught her in my arms before she could fall....my lips curved upwards at the sight of her without my control....Mia...all gorgeous again in red and open black hair....what the hell was she doing here?
"Daniel...sorry I didn't see u coming....did I hurt u?"..she asked so innocently..."no need to apologize Mia, am not hurt" I said smiling at her....her cheeks turned a different kind of red...was she blushing or embarrassed?
"Um...wat are doin here Mia?"
"This is my cousin Susan's engagement party and wat abt u?"
"Well....Patrick is my cousin"
"Gr8...we have cousins getting married to each other...want some cookies?"she extended the box to me
"Ya...um...thank you...see you later"....I took some and walked off
"Hey Dan....where are you running man....come here....meet Susan" pat was calling me and I went to meet Susan officially...."hi Susan good to finally meet you"..."ya...nice to meet you in flesh...thought you wouldn't make it"...."anything for Patrick"...I hugged her and was about to leave when Susan called out to me again" Dan...I would like you to meet my cousin riya..."...Mia was the only one standing next to her....
"What riya?"
"Yes riya"...Susan said"as in R-I-Y-A" and mia was looking like a kid caught stealing cookies.....she had lied....
