Love Forever?

Everyone leaves us... for a while at least
Oh my lad awaken
why must you abandon me again
Didn't we think our love would live through time?
didn't you tell me your heart was always mine?
your voice spun dreams of a house on a moor
since you fell I’ve dreamed no more.
If I could only kiss your lips
mending a heart that no other can fix.
The memory of your lily white face
so sombre in death-so out of place.
I cry for you, my lad, in bed
I cry for the death of love-of words unsaid.
Even the sky that was once so blue
bleeds for the loss of my life-for the loss of you.
I visit your grave every year
I talk to it-wonder if you can hear.
And now I am old, frail and ill
now I see you-waiting for me still.
You smile at me, and I die
you hold me, were back to being us-we fly!
And perhaps one day I'll ask you where you went
but not today, today I lie in your arms...
finally content
