Oran, Susan best friend. Is finally taking his chance before it is too late.
Oran

First and second hour past and now came third hour, Language art. As Susan walk all the way to the third floor to class. Everyone she knew wave or said hi to her, but she just walk off not even looking at them. But there was one thing Susan love, she love the familiar faces she saw. It made her feel relax, calm. She hasn't had that since she met her uncles. Never knowing who her uncles were, never growing up with them made everything even harder. She doesn't know how to act around them. Not knowing what they like or don't, what makes them mad and what not. She was afraid that if she did one thing that they didn't like they hate her or think badly of her.

In Lang. art Mrs. Flower gasp when she saw Susan. When the bell rang and the school announcement went on, she pull Susan out of class.
"What are you doing here?" Mrs. F said. Susan Thought to herself. "Oh, I heard that before. Not even a, oh I'm so sorry for you lost."
"I'm...getting an education because it's good for you." Susan said in sarcasm.
"No, I'm serious wouldn't' you rather stay home and grief." Mrs. F had her hand on her hips now. Looking at Mrs. F eyes almost made Susan cry, but she couldn't.
"Oh, I already did and I'm over it." Mrs. F gave Susan a disappointing look.
"Susan no one gets over something so tragic this fast." Mrs. F started crying.
Susan loved Mrs. F, she's not only a cool person but very caring than anyone she know before. On January 12, 2010 the same day as Susan's birthday when a huge crazy hurricane hit Haiti. Mrs. F told Susan's class the situation and the horrible condition she broke down and started crying, saying "If I were rich I would go down there and save them all." That was the first Teacher she ever met who really care for others.

If Susan could she would cry with Mrs. F but she hated crying in front of people.
"Mrs. F, please don't cry. I would rather stay home but I came to school for a reason. It's not that I have to, but I want to. I'm moving in a couple of days and before I move I want to spend time here at East before I go." Mrs. F started crying again, but worst.
Soon as announcement ended, Susan sat in her desk. Mrs. F went up in front to teach with red eyes. But soon she started laughing and that made Susan smile, she was going to Miss Mrs. F.

At lunch Oran was looking for Susan. Not knowing if she came to school or not he still waited for her. Oran and Susan were good friends since elementary school, they did everything together and still did.

Once he spotted Susan he walk up to her grab her by the arm. He pull her outside through the doors as her friends just watch him doing that without rejection. He pull her all the way to his car. Without one word Susan got in the car and they drove off with no idea of where they were going. Oran turn off the radio and turn the AC in the car on. He was furious and mad that he didn't know what to say.
"Oran calm down." Susan touch his arm, Oran turn to look at her and she saw tears. She haven't seen him cry ever since they were 6, he fell off the tree and sprain his ankle. She laugh at him because she thought he was faking, until she saw his tears.
Oran turn away and face the road, Susan didn't know what to do. She was frustrated and hurt, she felt so lonely that she could just fade away.
Oran drove into the highway and eventually stop at the old farm him and Susan use to go during the summer with his parents.
Oran still had his hands on the steering wheel, griping it very hard. Susan once again touch his arm to relax him, he took her hand and kiss it. He move closer to Susan that they were nose to nose. Susan could feel his breath on her lips and she knew what he wanted.
"Oran-"

"Susan I'm so sorry." Oran lean his head on her forehead. "But I don't want you to be alone."
"Oran listens -"
"I don't know how hard it hurts you, but seeing you like this kills me inside." Oran put both of his hand on the side of Susan's face.
"Oran-"
"No, Susan listen. I know I should've told you before." He leaned his head on her forehead again and still had his hand on her face.
"Please-"

"I love you Susan." Susan took his hands in hers.
"Oran-I'm moving away." She turn to look away quickly when a tear slip. Oran touch her chin and turn her to look at him. Taking his thumb to wipe away her tears, she could and would only cry in front of Oran.
He didn't know what to say so he kiss her on the cheeks. She back away and look down at her hands. Tears came down more, that it made Oran want to kiss her until she stop crying.

"I'm-I'm sorry O-I'm sorry Oran, but I can't." Oran turn to face his side of the window. Susan touch his cheek with her right hand, she turn him around until she could see his face. "I can't do this with all the pain, loneliness, and the moving it's-it's just too much." This time Susan had her hands on both sides of Oran cheeks. Still looking down Susan hug him.
"I understand, but we could still be friends right?" He look up at Susan.
"What are you talking about, we've been friends, still are, and will be in the future." Susan tap his shoulder. "I want you to meet my uncles. I think they like you."
"Uncles? Is that why you weren't home?" Oran turn the engine on and drove off.
"Where are we going?" Susan sat all the way back in her seat.
"To your place."
