Chapter 10
Diana’s POV
I felt so good being with him alone. I slowly opened my eyes and found him staring at me. He got up and turned and said ‘I’ll wait for u downstairs, you can get changed’. He left.
I searched for something suitable to wear but I ended up with a frock which was a little above my knees.
I dried my hair, and combed it properly. I ran downstairs and smelled something outrageously delicious.
I enter the kitchen with a peculiar expression in my face ‘you cook?’ I asked him, surprisingly. ‘Uh-huh yeah, I do, dad and I cook at home usually’ he replied. His eyes were sad.
‘Hey, you never told me about your mom?’ I ask. ‘She left us’ he said with extreme sadness and anger in his eyes.
‘I am so sorry’ I reply. ‘She didn’t die; she just left my dad, me and my sister, when I was in first grade for some other guy’.
‘Oh- I am so sorry’ I come near him and hug him. ‘I am with you’ I say. He hugs me fiercely and whispers in my ear ‘don’t ever leave me’.
‘So what’s cooking’ I ask suddenly. ‘Waffles, Want to try? It’s my dad’s recipe’.
I say ‘I would love it’. I smile and sit in the dining table.
He comes with two plates in his hands.
‘Dan at your service’ he comes next to me and puts the plate on the table and sits next to me.
I take one bite and say ‘wow, your good at cooking’.
‘What’s your favorite type of food?’ he asks.
‘I love Chinese and Italian type of food’ I say.
‘Hmm, you cook so well, you passed the husband cooking test’ I burst laughing.
He stares at me silently and then rushes to kiss me urgently.
‘I really like you Diana; I don’t know what I am I going to do without you?’
Tears fall from his eyes.
‘Hey baby would happened?’ I hug him.
‘I never imagined having feelings for anyone, but here I am loving you like mad, I sigh in love, thinking about you from the first day I loved you, seeing u hurt by Xavier. Watching you crying. Promising myself that I should never hurt u. I didn’t want to like any girl because of what my mom did to me, but I realized that not all girls are like her, you are so different, I hope what you said about the husband thing comes soon, I know it’s early but I have deep feelings for you’ he whispers in my ear.
I shudder and hug him hard.
Suddenly someone rings the bell. I open the door and stare at that person with pure hatred and I see Dan walking beside me and he too stares
