Love at First Fright - Part 1
I'm so stupid! I used to be a popular-ish author here but then I threw a diva tantrum and lost all my fans. Plus I forgot my password! I'm so sorry for that, so I'm remaking and polishing this book up! Hope you enjoy! Here is Love at First Fright for the second time! :D
Tiffany clutched the suitcase, she always took with her, to her side, nervously as she stepped inside the bank. She shuffled into the short queue, noticing that everyone was staring at her. She swept her hand across her face and hair. It was the same as usual: her auburn hair was tied up with a black band, her colorless, makeup less skin pale with her smoky gray eyes standing out. If she was given a chance to kill her African friend, she would take it in a heartbeat. Why on earth would Annette send Tiffany back to the place of Tiffany’s parents’ death?
It didn’t take long for her to put the money from her parents’ wills into the bank and soon she was walking back to the exit. Her head was ducked as she walked into someone. She lifted her head to utter the word, "Sorry", but was stopped upon noticing the apparel of this "Someone". He was wearing all black from his black balaclava to his black shoes.
"If any of you move, this lady will be dead before you can call you petty little police." His voice was distorted and changed quite a bit, she noticed, as he revealed two shotguns from his pocket. He raised the guns up higher and shot all 6 CCTV cameras in the room. He grabbed Tiffany’s arm roughly and dragged her out of the room. Tiffany was currently paralyzed in shock, she never expected to be kidnapped. He pulled her out and into an old beat-up Ford. He closed the door and automatically the child-lock went into action.
As soon as he’d left, the realization of what had actually happened sunk in. Tiffany had just been kidnapped. She tried the doors first. Nope, it definitely was on child lock. She then pulled out her phone and had a look. No signal. She cursed silently. She quickly put the phone away as she saw her kidnapper run back to the car. He got in quickly and started the car. The interior of the car was completely silent for 30 minutes. Had there been conversation what would they have talked about? She looked outside and saw they wear near a big hotel, in fact it was the leading hotel in the business. The thief/kidnapper parked and they both got out.
"If anybody asks, you’re my girl, yeah? What’s your name? I refuse to call you kidnapper." Tiffany tried to stifle the giggle that inevitably came out.
"What is so funny about asking for a name?" Tiffany simply shook her head. She didn’t have to explain herself to some kidnapper, did she?
"I’m Tiffany Saunders, who the hell are you?" That came out stronger than she actually felt.
"Just call me Matt." Matt pulled the balaclava off his head. Tiffany quickly checked him out. He was actually quite good looking with his dark blonde hair and piercing green eyes. When she realized where her thoughts were going, she mentally slapped herself and thought, "Just ‘cause he’s good looking doesn’t mean you have to like him." His arm went around her waist and pulled her into the reception.
"Hello, welcome to Golden Dreams Hotel, a room?" The woman behind the desk asked in a thick Spanish accent. Tiffany didn’t bother saying anything as she nodded. Turns out that Matt had the same idea and he nodded as well. The woman handed Matt a key and said, "Room 845 is the only room left." Room 845 was on the 8th floor and the pair were lazy therefore didn’t bother walking. They asked the woman where the elevator was and she pointed it out. The elevator was small. That was the best way to describe it. The space there was so small that Tiffany and Matt were only a pin’s distance away from each other. Fortunately the awkward ride came to the end as the two got out. Tiffany turned to look behind her again. Above the elevator was the sign, "Frisky Couple Elevator". Her eyes widened but she refused to tell Matt. He’d see it later.
They walked to room 845. Matt put the key in the door and unlocked it. He opened the door. The room looked perfect: two bedside tables, the room had a view and there was a double sized bed for couples. Wait! What?

So that's it! Hope you enjoyed it. Please take the poll at the bottom and please comment! Okay this is like two of my previous chapters combined and edited! Hope you enjoyed it! It's meant to be a comedy as well as a romance, do you think it's funny? Do you not think it's funny? Comment!
