Love and Royalty (4)

Before Heading to my office, I stopped for a quick drink in the kitchen. I went in and grabbed a cup of blood. As I drank, Jason came in.

"Hey Jason, Guess you heard about the marriage huh?"

"Yep"

"Jason… don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t want to marry you. I do love you, but as a big brother."

"Alexa, its OK I feel the same way."

"Even if I disagree, I have to do this, for the crown"

"Yes, I know you don’t have a choice but we have to be strong and go through with this."

"Don’t worry, I’m ready for anything, even if it’s for the crown" I lied. I would do most things for crown but not everything, not love, but I have no choice.

"I will only go with this marriage if you go with it."

"Don’t worry, I pinky promise I’ll marry you."

Don’t take this wrong, I could refuse and lose the crown but if I refuse I get killed by the council. Princess Maria, she was the princess for the pixies. The council made her an arranged marriage and she didn’t know that they would kill her if she refused.
So, she refused to marry and the council removed her Royal Crown and killed her with a spell. The council is the council for every kind of species such as pixies, vampires, werewolves, and much more.
They could only kill you only if you refuse their orders, otherwise you could scream, curse, yell with them not killing you.

Anyways, Jason and I hugged and I left the kitchen and went to my office. When I got in, I sat on my rare brown leather chair. My office is really dark, and there is a lot of book cases along each wall. The only light that lights up the room is the fireplace, window and the lamp on my desk. I don’t really need light; my eyes adjust to any darkness and light.
I sat down and wrote a letter to the council confirming the marriage between Jason and me.

Outside of my office stood 1 guard.
"Guard, can you come in please?"

"Yes, your highness?"

"Can you send this letter to the council?"

"Absolutely your majesty"

"Thank You. You may go" The guard walks out and James comes in.

"Princess Alexandra, I’m sorry to disturb you but could I talk with you?"

"Sure. Please…. Sit down" I said while pointing to the empty chair in front of my desk.

"Well, I heard that you have to marry Daniel"

"Yeah, I have to marry him in order to become Queen and I don’t really want to marry a guy I don’t love other than a big brother."

"So… What are we going to do… with…. Us?"

"Well I have to marry him, without a complaint. You have to deal with it, or else the council will find out about us and take you away from me and I don’t want that"
By the time I finished that sentence I was centimeters away from James lips.

"I won’t let that happen. I love you too much for me to be away from you." James said while looking straight at my eyes, it’s like he’s looking at my soul.

"Me too. That’s why we have to keep our relationship strictly secret"
James is really tall. So in order to kiss him I have to look up while he leans down.
James Pulls my chin and kisses gently. I wrap my around his neck and tip toe to kiss him harder. After 30 seconds I pull away,

"I have to go to bed. Sweet Dreams"

"I kiss him 1 more time and he tells me "Sweet Dreams" and I walk out to my room. I snuggle in my bed and I fell into a long relaxing dreamless sleep.
