Love and Royalty (2)

I woke up with a sensation of thirst; it was throbbing in my throat. I got up from my bed and put on my white silk robe on top of my long spaghetti strap pajamas and went to the kitchen and poured some white lion blood in a cup, and drank it. The throbbing stopped, I was satisfied. I stayed in the kitchen and waited till anyone woke up (The time was around 7 o’clock).

I always wait in the kitchen or in James’s office. So everyone knows where to find me in the morning, but today I decided to wait in the kitchen. I walked toward the sink and started to wash the cup, and then I felt a warm hand on my waist. I turned around then gasped by the sight of James (Remember, is the guy I have a crush on, he doesn’t know).
"Oh I’m sorry my princess." James said while bowing.

"James, you know I don’t like being called princess or anything like that. And good morning to you too." I walk toward him and give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Well, Alexa what are you doing here at 7, you usually get up here at 9"

"Oh, I wanted to drink."

"Oh, then that’s fine"

"Well, what are you doing here?"

"I heard noises and went to your room and saw your bed empty, so I came here."

"Awe, thank you for checking up on me first"

"My pleasure"

"I’m happy to know you are the only one that can wake up, because Blake and Jason can sleep with an earthquake happening" I giggle a little, while turning around and finish washing the cup.
While I was the cup and some extra utensils that were in the sink, I felt James’s hands on my waist. I turn and we were about to kiss, but Jason comes in and James removes his hands so fast, I couldn’t even see when he slipped them away. This was the first time, which a thing like this happens; I waited for him to kiss me for a long time.

"Good Morning, Princess Alexa"
I look at him with a grin

"Ok, ok Alexa"

"Thank you, and is Blake still sleeping?"

"Yep, his snoring woke me up"

"As usual"

"Are we doing anything today?"

"Yes, the council is coming at 8 and I have to take a shower." I said while turning off the water and drying my hands.

"I’m going to do the same, Alexa do you want me to take you to your room?" James says

"OK, sure if you want" I said while, standing next to him.

"If you need me I’ll be riding my horse around the woods." Jason says while running out the back door from the kitchen.

"Let’s go before, Blake get’s up" I said while walking out of the kitchen.
James runs to my side, and rubs his hand past my hand, I get a shock. We walk in silence, until we get to my room.

"Thank you, for bringing me to my room safe"

"Your welcome, my princess"
James starts to walk away, then he suddenly stops and walks toward me and grabs my hand and pulls my neck towards him and kisses me with great force and passion. I put my arms around his neck and he moves his hands on my waist. I kissed his back. He pulls away and looks into my hazel eye.

"I’m sorry, Alexa I didn’t mean to do this."

"It’s ok James. I’ve waited for this kiss for a long time."

"Really?"

"Yea. Ever since I became your best friend, which was when I first saw you."

"But what about Jason and Blake?"

"I do care for them a lot, but I love you more."

"I love you too, ever since I saw you dating that guy from school. I couldn’t bear to see my princess with another guy."

"It’s ok; you’re the only guy I want to be with."
I pull him for a kiss, and I tippy toed. When we started to kiss, my senses sensed another person near us. I quickly pulled away.
"What’s wrong?"

"Did you feel that?"

"I did, but it’s probably the maid."

"No it’s not the maid; my senses could feel who it is. It’s Jason, he’s coming this way."
James suddenly, ran towards Jason.
When James disappears towards the other side of the hallway, I went inside my room to take a shower.

"Jason where are you going?" James says as he meets up with Jason in the hallway.

"Oh, hey James was just on my way to give Alexa the necklace; she forgot it in the kitchen."

"Oh, it’s ok I’ll bring it to her."

"Ok, sure" Jason hands James the necklace and Jason starts to walk away.

James returns to Alexandra’s room door, and she’s not there. He knocks on the room and no one answers, he decides to go in. He opens the door and walks toward Alexa’s bed and puts the necklace down, as he heads towards the door, Alexa comes out with a towel wrapped around her.

"James what are you doing here?"
James gasps at the sight of me with a towel and covers his eyes with his hand.

"Oh, Jason brought your necklace and I put it on your bed." He says while covering his eyes.

"That’s nice, thank you."

"Ok princess, I’ll let you get dressed. I’ll be in my office if you need me."

I went to my closet and picked out a long blood red corset and dress and I headed to the bathroom. I put on all my cloth underwear, bra, accessories, makeup, dress and corset.

I made my way to the front door. There they are the vampire council.

"Your highness" The council, Jason, James and Blake said while bowing.

"Council" I said with a serious face. I never liked the council.

"We have news for you."
