Love and Hate: Can 'Infatuation' Turn into Love?

Yes, that's true. Love is a passion handled passionately by every individual. Love has no limit, no age, no time! Emma was flying into the skies when she met Barnett coincidentally in a workshop. What a first sight love! She told me continuously about that lucky day. It was Emma's first visit to London, she had never been there before. Emma was so excited that she was the lucky candidate who got the research paper selected on one of her favorite subjects - "Love and Hate of the Literature." It was the comparative study of various literary periods and contemporary society.

Let's turn to Emma's love story! Barnett, 26 years old guy, tall with a pleasant personality that attracted not only girls looking for their Mr. Dream but also his intellectual mind attracted people of all kind. He looked very young, and innocent... I wonder what made him came to this selfish world! Barnett, the epitome of spirituality, had a different color complexions - neither black nor white, difficult to guess of his race. Of course, Emma found all marvelous things of the world in his blue eyes, very deeply...

Emma was late that day, to attain the workshop held in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England on "Love and Hate of the Literature." The Stratford-Upon-Avon, a place where the Father of English Literature was born. A great dramatist of Elizabethan era and a love poet of sonnets - William Shakespeare. Barnett was on the dice speaking about "Can 'Infatuation' Turn into Love?" He was loud and catchy! Everyone was getting involved into the topic. No sooner Emma put her first step on the huge theater full on intellectual readers and curious audiences, Barnett's clear voice started stammering! He lose his way in a beautiful white dressed Emma, she was really universal as like her name. All were surprised by this sudden change in Barnett. His friend, Abie, was trying to aware him of his speech and about the authorities that were staring at him. And most important thing was that Barnett was the representative of their college as a senior student from the University of Cambridge, who honored with PhD in English Literature last year. He was a scholar, gold medalist and the most respected student in the Cambridge. How to deal with such situation! Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty casted the spells her magic on him and was blessing the whole atmosphere with love...

Someone from the audience loudly claims, "Hey, look at this man and his first sight love....!" There was no clue that Emma will guess what was going on, she calmly sat on the last row beside that gaudy man unknowingly. Due to that comment Barnett became conscious and it took five minutes to regain his confidence. The audiences knew that this time the points will explain more enthusiastically, for a gal who took the cake! Later on, Barnett took a pause and started, "Love comforteth like sunshine after rain." Yes, I get it, it seems. Dear Friends, in today's session "Love and Hate of the Literature", I get opportunity to express my viewpoints on - Can 'Infatuation' Turn into Love? Let's take example of a world-famous love story of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo, found his first crush with Rosaline was just a rosy attraction of young age. Later on, as he became matured and came to a conclusion, how the whole day he can dream of Juliet and Juliet only after meeting her! Ever ending and more passionately, unconditional... it can be called the true love of Romeo for Juliet.

Infatuation, is the opener and realization of one's desires. Everyone possess ego and superego. An ego can be called consciousness of your own identity and superego. Superego is the cultural prejudices that treats us with the principles and limitations of the society. Everyone follows it, but what about self-consciousness? Is it not important to choose a partner from their life? That's true. Here are few lines from the 'Sonnet 116 - Let me not to marriage of true minds' admit impediments' by William Shakespeare -

"Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
"

We can define, 'infatuation' as - an extravagant passion or attachment towards a person, basically in adolescent age, that might not know of any sexual attraction or other means but just as an evoking emotions. By the certain time, infatuation proves to be an inspiration, devotion and sacrifices resulted into True Love. Thus, we cannot imagine love without the upcoming of infatuation.

The concept of love is an amalgamation of various emotions such as infatuation is one of them. It's the true love that history reminds through the story of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo poisoned himself in the disguised that Juliet was dead. But in reality Juliet consumed a drug that would take her into coma some days as to delay her forcible wedding with other person, Count Paris. When she found Romeo was died, she stabbed herself. Romeo and Juliet diminished the feud of two families ending with their death that welcomed to witness the history of love.

All audiences stood up and clapped for Barnett's analysis of 'infatuation' and 'true love'. But Barnett was smiling at Emma and she too did the same.... Both were looking at each other.... And I found tears into Emma's eyes which were missing Barnett. She told all the things seemed lifelike and see how she remembered the whole dialogs of Barnett without any pause? I can understand her love and their tragedy that made her lonely, in the hope of Barnett.
