When I Lost You
Losing my seventeen year old son in 2003…
When I lost you-
I was in a total
state of shock- like an earthquake shattering my heart
and every piece of my soul.
You were my only son
and bad things
happened to you
when you
were young
on account of a " so- called friend "
that betrayed us
and a court system
that doesn't
defend children.
No one wants
to understand- my son was 11
and instead of helping him
they
threw him into the juvenile prison
took his youth away - now he's in heaven.
