Lost Words
There are many times, when one finds it difficult to express feelings in a jumble of meaningful words. For a professed writer, it could be what is commonly called a 'writer's block'; but for others it can be... well, even frustrating!
Trying to compose them into
A semblance of human emotion;
Hoping the words to flow
Instead,
They dry up into a well of nothingness.
I sit down to jot a few words
Hoping,
They reflect the picture I see;
The emotion I cannot contain any longer,
But the words are wary.
I sit down to jot a few words
But,
The words they no longer think
Before they spill the ink on paper;
The words lost...
I sit lonely and bereft.
