Lost Love Of The Past - Chapter 1

This chapter might seem boring but I need to tell you guys the background first. Hope you like it and please comment.
- Bella's POV -

Ring!!!!!!! Ring!!!!!!
I groan. I quickly press the snooze on my alarm clock.
I'm still so very tired. I couldn't sleep a wink last night.
Still sleepy, I drag myself out of bed and into a nice refreshing cold shower.
Ahhh... Nothing can beat a nice cold shower to wake you up and relief some tension.
After I finished washing up, I wrap my body in a towel and went to stand in front of my full length mirror.
While brushing out my wet hair, I slowly let my criticizing eyes wander over my mirror image.
Long waist length blond hair, that looks dull and lifeless.
A heart shaped face, way too small too call it fine and gentle.
Blue eyes with dark eyelashes that make my face seem smaller. Such a cliché!
Full pouty lips. Too full to be called beautiful.

My length is a problem as well. I'm way too long for a normal 23 year old woman.
And so skinny!
At least I have one point in my favor, my body is tanned and it's natural! I don't have to sit in the sun, exposing my body to get a tan.
I sigh. Sometimes I wish I looked like someone else.
I turn and fetch my clothes. A pair of black tight fitting pants with a powder blue satin blouse that almost looks like a corset. I quickly change in the bathroom.
After I dried my hair and combed it until it shined, I let it hung loose over my shoulders.
I only put some pink lip gloss on. I don't really like to wear a lot of make up. I really believe in: "Less is more."
I glance at the clock.

06:38

I'm late!
I grab a yogurt and an apple out of the fridge and run to my car in the garage.
I hope I will still be in time for work.
I'm a manager at a famous spa. Though I usually only work with the staff and paperwork, I sometimes help out with the clients. I can do everything. From massaging to cutting hair.
I love my job. And I have worked really hard to get here. I can still remember all the courses I had to do. First was the 3 year course for a beautician and then there was the business courses I had to do.
But it was worth it!
I smile when I stop in my parking spot.
Heaven on Earth's doors is still closed.
Good. That gives me enough time to get the massaging oils out and heated.
An important client is coming to 'test' our salon. She's going to write about it in her magazine, IF she thinks it's worth it.

While I get the oils, I still think of the dreams I had the previous night.
It started out so nice, so beautiful.
Me and a handsome man was looking into each others eyes. The attraction to each other beyond words to describe. I looked in awe as we moved closer to each other. Finally, our lips met and my blood went rushing to my head. I grabbed his shoulders to keep from falling and moan out softly.
In return he groans and pulls me tighter against him.
He let go of my mouth and I moan softly.
He slowly kisses my neck and I sigh in content.
Then he whispers:

"I love you, my hummingbird."
I look into his eyes, and gasp at the love that I see.
Before I could answer flames started to burn around us and I tried screaming but couldn't. I saw the fear in his eyes. The pain in his eyes was unbearable. It hurt me more than the flames.
I don't even know this man.
But it was only a dream, right?
Even though it felt so real.

- Xander's POV -

I dreamt of her last night.
Anabelle. My hummingbird.
We kissed. I remembered her soft lips against mine.
My hummingbird. When are you coming back to me?
I need you.
I look down into the glass filled with the crimson liquid I so adore, but tonight I can't take the smell or taste of the blood.

"King Xander?"

"Yes Saladar?"

"We have found the whereabouts of Lord Anderson."

"Good. Get the men ready for tomorrow morning. That will be all."

So, the battle begins.
I promised I will kill him for you, hummingbird. I will torture him until he begs me to kill him. He shall feel the pain I still feel.
