Lost In Your Mind

I was in math class thinking. lol. comment please…
Lights are shining, bands are quiet, everyone is silent
Drunk and dyeing, dances begin, everyone is violent
Thrashing, biting, kicking, and clawing their way out
Falling down, and drowning, what's this all about

Everything inside of us is how we choose our way
We think of things we follow, things that people say
I've run, and run till no more ground
To find a place that has no sound

Yet even though I seem to cry
I know that deep inside I try
For one thing's clear, my mind's a blur
Feelings in my heart, things I must endure

You read my thoughts, you see my way
Yet wondering your own, don't have much to say
You fight, and search, but never find
You're losing yourself, lost in your own mind
