Lost Hope

As the whole world is turning
It just feels like I'm falling
No matter what I do, to make things work
It just falls through

I'm losing all hope
Its seeping away
A strong determined current
Carrying it out of my reach

Why can't it graze my fingertips?
Just so I don't feel like I have completely lost it all
My body shutters and shakes
My tears so pungent, stream down my face

They sting my cheeks as they travel downwards
I still feel around
For my lost hope
I don't expect it ever to come back

Ignoring problems won't get me anywhere
I'm not gonna let things go anymore
I already let my hope go
I have to confront all these problems head on.
