Lost Friend 22

When we finally got to Jason's house no one was home. We had the house all to ourselves. When we got there we went into the kitchen. Jason lifted me up and put me up on the counter. I sat watching him as he started to make something.
"Watch makin?" I asked cheerfully.
"A sandwich...want one?" He asked
"Sure" I answered.

He continued to make the 2 sandwiches. He made them very fast. When he was finished making them we went to the living room and sat on the couch. We talked.
"Sooo its my birthday on Friday." I said bubbly.
"Yeahh?" Jason replied
"Mhmmm."
"We might just have to celebrate.." he suggested.
"Okayy." I said.
"I'll pick you up at 7." he said
"Cool." I smiled.

We ate our sandwiches. After we finished we watched tv. It was quiet. He wrapped his arm around me and I put my head on his shoulder and smiled. Everything felt right, just like every other time I'm with him. Usually I hated Mondays but today was good.

We were watching tv when Jason's mom came home.
"Hey guys," she said pleasantly.
"Hi mom," Jason said.
"Hello," I said smiling.
"You guys hungry?" Jason's mom asked.
Jason looked at me. I shrugged.
"No thanks," he answered.

We got up and walked up to his room. His room smelt like him, I loved it. We sat on the bed and talked. Finally he said,
"Its getting late, how about I take you home?"
"Uhm..okay..I can walk if you want."
"No..its cold out I can take you." He said.
"Okay."

We walked downstairs.
"Going home chels?" Jason's mom ask
"Yeahh."
"Okay see you later," she said
"Yup."

We got into Jason's car. It was silent the whole way to my house, which was only like 2 minutes away.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" he asked
"Yeah." I said
"Oh, only on the bus and class, I have to show that new girl around" He remembered.
"Oh...yeah" I put my head down.
"Sorry babe," he replied.
He leaned forward. I kissed him. "Bye," I said. Then I got out of the car and walked into the house.
