Lost Friend 16

Read on...
My mom and I drove home in silence. We finally got home. I went up to my room. I lied down on the floor to lazy to even get to the bed. While I was laying I realized my cell phone. I hadn't even touched it in at least 2 weeks. I grabbed it, checking it if it was dead. Then I grabbed a bag, blanket, a bag of chips and a coat. I went downstairs.

Right when I was about to leave the house, my dad grabbed my arm.
"STOP!" I yelled.
"Don't talk to me like that," He said sternly.
"I will talk to you like that, you hit me, I had to go to the hospital," I said.
"Soo?" he said.
"I think I have the right," I explained.
He grabbed me harder.
"Let me go!" I screamed.
Then without thinking if it was a smart idea I slapped him right across the face.
Then he punched me, right in the eye.
"I HATE YOU!" I exclaimed.
Tears running down my face I ran out of the house and went down to the park to hide out in my special spot.

When I got to the park, I put my blanket down and my coat on. Then I sat and started to cry even more and harder. Right then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I jumped. I turned around surprised and wiped the tears from my eyes. It was only Jason.
"Hi," I said.
"Hey." he said, "What's wrong?" he asked
"Nothing. Nothing, at all." I replied.
"Oh only because your eye is black and blue, And also because you are crying," he said.
"Yeah...Well you know....my dad," I said.
"Oh. I'm sorry." he said sitting next to me on the blanket,.

He was looking at me, but he wasn't saying anything. He wrapped his arms around me. I looked at him and smiled. When I was with him everything felt so right. Like nothing would go wrong. He smiled back. He hugged me, but didn't let go. His arms were so warm.

"Everything's gonna be alright, you know that right?" He asked, breaking silence.
"Yeahh. At least while im with you," I responded.
He smiled getting up grabbing my bag. Standing up, he grabbed my hand and pulled me up.
"What are we doing?" I asked.
"Just walk with me," he said.
