Laney and Noah entire chapter :) Please Comment!
Seventh Chapter. I'll respond to all the comments next time :) But thanks to: Mary Alice, Tehegurl, Kurterina, Hollie J!!!! I appreciate it. Thanks sooooo much for your patience. I really and truthfully haven't had time or else I would have been done with the book by now!! :)

Noah POV

I drove to Laney’s house. Even though it was hard to watch her suffer through everything that her dad has put her through, I still like to hang out with her. Have you ever had a secret you just couldn’t tell your best friend? Well, it’s hard. I bounded up Laney’s porch stairs, and knocked on her door. She didn’t answer the door so I walked around to the back. I saw Katherine’s arm disappear through the trees. I sprinted to the lake only to be confronted with Laney’s piercing glare when she spotted me.
"Unless you came to apologize for you being really rude, I suggest you leave." She growled.

"Look, Laney, all I want to be is your friend, I’m sorry if you thought different. I didn’t mean to come across mean this afternoon. I was irritated because Zach was flirting with you. He plays around with girls. I just don’t want to see you get hurt."
"Noah, I don’t need a body guard. Me and Zac just met. Leave my personal life alone, because you aren’t in it! Just because I was flirting with him, doesn’t mean I’m in love with him. And why am I even telling this to you? It’s none of your business anyway!" Laney stomped away from me.

"Laney, I’m sorry." I tried the only thing I could. Apologizing was not a strength of mine.
She turned on her heel and sighed, "Okay. Your forgiven. So let’s just forget this ever happened, all right?"
"Okay."
"I need some help on my lines. I got a call back, but you never let me tell you about it."
"That’s great, Laney!" I hugged her.

"So how was football?"
"Pretty good. Being a Junior at practice is easier than last year because coach doesn’t get on to us as much. He mainly focuses on the freshman and sophomore to make sure they are doing everything right."
"So do you want to run lines?" Laney poured us both lemonade.
"Um, I’m not that great of an actor."
"So we can both learn something." Laney picked up the glasses and moved out to the deck.

"Okay so I’m pretty much tired out. This actor needs some serious rest." I look at Laney over my script like I’m implying I need to go.
"Noah! We only have 4 pages left. We might as well finish them!"
Laney the only reason I need to go is because on the second to last page you and Zac kiss. I just told you two hours ago we were friends. This detail may put a dent in things………
I wish she could read my thoughts.

Laney was finishing up her last line.
"Eric, I just don’t think we should be seen together. You’re a jock, I’m a nerd. You just broke up with your girlfriend. She would kill me if she knew……."
"Monica, we have a connection. If we never try, we will never know. I don’t want to have any regrets in life so….."

I looked at Laney I was supposed to kiss her. She was looking down at her script as if she didn’t know where we were. I leaned in to kiss her. At first she didn’t kiss back, but then she started too.
I pulled away and looked at her. She stood up.
"Well, I should probably tackle some homework. I’ll see you tomorrow I guess."
"Alright." I started to walk towards the door and turned around. Laney was watching me. I jogged back towards her and kissed her on the head.
"Maybe I do want to be more than friends." I whispered.

Let me know what you think :) I love to get comments. They make my day and get my brain juices flowing for another chapter.
