Loss

Loss of life is extremely painful.
Loss
Her tears do not stop to flow.
Those drops would never get slow.
This is the feeling after our last meet.
Failing me are my attempts to treat.
My siblings are suffering no less with this plight.
Our pairs of eyes are filled with fear and fright.
Utterly frustrating is our being helpless.
Love amongst us is greatly soothing, nevertheless.
Our compassion is unable to melt her grief.
Condolence offered is far from helping her turn a new leaf.
Months thirty three have passed since my brother’s demise.
Without his thought, not passed is a single sunrise.
Stooped are our shoulders with his memories, weighing large.
This fragile woman’s life is shattered beyond recharge.
She is none other than our wonderful, brave mom.
Cruel destiny snatched her eldest child devastating her calm.
How my mother wishes to undo the ghastly deed of fate?!
If only that was possible, none would lose their child or mate..
