Lord, I Love This Country

Lord, I love this country
And all she is to me.
So many hate her
Or don't appreciate
The freedom that she gives them,
The life that she creates.
She is our honor!
She is our pride!
And we will defend her
On every side.
She stands for virtue!
She stands for faith!
Faith in our country!
Faith in our lives!
It is for her
So many bled and died.
Lord I love this country,
I see her beauty
So why do others fail?
When allegiance to her
We pledge,
Some mumble at the words.
And her anthem we profess?
Some will sit and shake their heads.
But I stand strongly
At her side.
Come stand with me.
And speak those words of liberty.
And pledge allegiance
To your country!!!
