Looking for God

When you fell and there was no one to pick you up
People went on cheating you and you wanted to give up
The voices in your head told you "no you can’t"
Life made you seem smaller than an ant

Just when your head was spinning
You had forgotten the meaning of winning
You were wandering in a path of darkness
Life was left blank with no happiness

Just when life became meaningless
What was there that still made you drag on
Which voice was there which told you to carry on?
Just when you were searching for god and telling him that he hasn’t been fair
If you were so broken what made you care?
In the darkness of your life which light is there?

You’ve been all alone and torn
You are asking yourself why were you born?
If living is such a tough task for you
What stops you from you dying?
What gives you the courage of keep on trying?
What tells you that you can always start new?

You’ll say it’s my inner me but god isn’t on my side
My luck has turned his back to me
And there’s no way to win that I can see
Just when you feel all alone
Somebody’s there for whom you’re searching everywhere
Someone who you think hasn’t been fair
But silly man! He gave you you’re life for a purpose
And the one for whom you’re searching everywhere
Look inside your heart he’s giving you you’re heartbeats there!
