Long Lost Princess - Chapters 1 and 2

Hey guys. It's a new story! Umm.. It doesn't seem likes a love story at first but don't worry it is!!
Chapter 1
I wasn’t allowed to go in and see her. I kept walking past the door waiting for good news well at least hoping for good news. As I was walking past the door again I heard a burst of crying and some people started shouting "NO".

I stopped where I was and dropped to the ground, crying. I knew this day would come but why so early? The door suddenly flung open and Hannah one of our maids came out the door comforting my elder sister Olivia whose face was flustered with tears. Then my brother Peter came out after her with his head down so no one could see his tears but no one really seem to notice that he had also been crying. It came to me as a surprise; I thought I’ll never see him cry.

Then one of my mother’s closest friends Charlotte followed everyone else out the door. I felt hands on my back and I asked "Can I go in and see her?" "Just this last time Anastasia." Charlotte said softly, so softly you could barely even hear her. I slowly got up and started taking slow and small steps as if some had put traps in the room. I was frightened to go in. I knew that this would be the last time I set eyes on Mother ever again.

When I got inside I saw my father sitting beside my beloved mother holding her hands. It looked like he would never, not in a million years let go. "We’re not going to see her again are we?" I asked quietly so quiet I could barely hear myself but surprisingly father did. "I’m sorry sweetie. She’s gone to a whole new place where she is happy, somewhere where she’s not sick anymore." Father said sadly. I then started crying again, knowing that she had gone to heaven. "Oh come here pumpkin even though your mother’s gone she’ll be happy being not ill every now and then. Everything will go back to normal, just you wait and see. Just you wait and see.

I remembered Father’s words and surprisingly everything did go back to normal but the world still speaks of mother’s death. I still couldn’t get over the fact that I couldn’t say goodbye to her, not when she was alive.

Around 2 years after her death I was sitting in my room reading one of my favorite books ‘Little Woman" until I heard someone knock on the door. "Come in." The door open and Hannah walked in. "Princess, His majesty was wondering if her majesty would like to go on a trip to town, to see the people of the country?" "Tell father that I’d rather not, I would like to stay inside today." "Yes Princess" Hannah replied and started backing away towards the door and turns around and exits.

Chapter 2
I then got back to my book. About half an hour later I felt peckish, so I place the book down on the desk and went out the door. I went down the stairs and then my heels went clip clop on the marble floor. Katrina, one of the hundred servants we have here walk past me. "Princess" Katrina said politely and bowed and started going back to what she was doing again. "Umm Katrina, I don’t mean to be a bother but could you maybe get me some tea and cake and bring it to the back garden please?" I asked her and smiled. "Not at all Princess" She then started walking into the kitchen while I made my way to the back garden.

The garden was always a lovely place, it was so peaceful and you would hear all the birds chirping, flowers everywhere and what I loved most was the fountain in the middle of the garden. It was just absolutely amazing.

I found myself a seat inside one of the band rotundas and Katrina came behind me carrying some tea and cake. She placed it on the table and asks "Is there anything else princess?" "Not at the moment but thanks" I answered politely. "My pleasure Princess." Katrina said happily and left. I sat there eating cake and drinking tea. It was lovely.

Then to my surprise my brother Prince Peter popped out from the side of the band rotunda. "Didn’t you go to town with Father and Olivia?" Peter asked me. "I was going to ask you the same thing." "No, I find myself much too busy to be going into town today." Peter replied. "You mean busy as in spending time with your beloved sister?" I joked. "Yes, especially that!" He answered joyfully. We just sat around there having a joke every now and then. Everything was just absolutely perfect.

Charles one of father’s special soldiers then rushed to us. "Sire, I must speak with you, immediately." I turned around to look at Charles with a serious look on his face. "Shouldn’t we wait until father comes back from town?" Peter asked. "Uh… Sire-I couldn’t hear what Charles had said to Peter then. He was so quiet; it was like they had something to hide from me. Peter gave a glance at me and then turned to Charles and said that it was best to go somewhere private. I watched them as they left I knew there was something up. But what?

At dinner Peter didn’t even eat, what did Charles say to him? Peter just sat there with his head just staring at his food."Peter, you should eat, it not healthy to not eat" I said since he didn’t even touch his food. "I’m not hungry" Peter said not looking up. "But Peter…- Peter got up from the table and stomped off. What’s going on!?

Later that night, I met up with Peter, trying to get him to tell me what’s happening. "Tell me!" I said for the umpteenth time. "Ana, this is getting really annoying please leave, Now." Peter said keeping in his anger.

"NO, I’m not leaving until you tell me what’s happening." I yelled. "FATHER AND OLIVIA’S DEAD. HAPPY NOW? I TOLD YOU NOW PLEASE LEAVE" Peter yelled almost in tears. I didn’t know what to say, my mind went blank. I felt my eyes water, life is horrid. I didn’t say a thing as I walked out of the room slowly. I got to my room and sobbed and sobbed. First Mother and now Olivia and Father, what am I going to do?
Should I continue?
