The methods adopted may vary slightly from person to person and it is good to take the advise of a medical practitioner, before starting the fasting. The steps to do a liver and gallbladder flush are mentioned below.
Say No To Solid Food For Two Days!
Once you start fasting strictly, avoid consuming any solid food for the first two days. This may be tough for anyone who has never fasted before, but don't worry it is not that you won't have to eat anything. You can drink apple juice warmed with cinnamon sticks. You can also drink a mixture made by stewing dandelion leaf and dry dandelion leaf tea in water for near about 20 minutes. You need to drink both the drinks, the apple juice and the dandelion mixture at regular intervals of 2 hours, at least 7 times a day. Repeat this procedure on the next day also. You can make a realistic schedule on your own by giving a difference of two hours, in between two drinks. For instance, start from 8am in the morning and then decide the drink you will take after every two hours. Prepare a time table for that!
Ending The Fast!
After following the above plan for two to four days, now you are ready to end the fast, but before that, some key steps are there that must be taken into consideration. Take a cotton or woolen cloth and soak it in castor oil and prepare either a heating pad or hot water bottle. Drink ¼ tbsp. epsom salt in 1/3 cup of warm water. This will dilate your gallbladder and ducts, so that you can finally have the olive oil drink. If you are uncomfortable with the taste of epsom salt, then try to have the rind of orange or lemon. Now, drink 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/3 cup hot apple juice and 1tbsp lemon juice.
When you go to sleep, after these process, keep the heating pad or hot water bottle under the right side of your rib cage. This is the liver and gallbladder area. Relax and sleep in this position for 2-3 hours. After 2-3 hours, remove the heating pad and again drink the epsom salt drink, that you had drunk earlier. Relax and drink some orange juice. The very next day, it may show you some magical results and you may see the various sized pebbles or gallstones in your eliminations. When you finally break your fast, try to have light diet instead of fast food, oily food and fried food. Return to your normal diet gradually.
There have been cases, where gallstones that have been there for a considerable amount of time, have been removed by liver and gallbladder flush and there have also been cases where the gallbladder stone still remained in the person's body. It is mandatory that the procedure is followed religiously and under the supervision of a medical trainer. This will surely help you get rid of the problem and avoid the surgeries and operations. Do consult your doctor for excellent results. All the best!
