Liv Tyler’s Marriage on the Rocks?

Tyler sparked rumors of marital strife when she appeared at New York’s Costume Institute Gala on Monday night sans her wedding ring. A source said that the couple has had some problems for quite some time now and the fact that Tyler showed up without her wedding ring to the event alone set the rumors abuzz. A rep for Tyler has reportedly refused to comment on the rumors.

Tyler is the daughter of Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and former model Bebe Buell, who raised her daughter with rocker Todd Rundgren. Tyler married British musician Langdon on March 25, 2003 in an intimate ceremony in Barbados after dating for almost three years. The couple has one child a son named Milo William. Milo was born on December 14, 2004 in New York City where the couple resides. Tyler and Langdon have managed to live their lives pretty much out of the spotlight.

Tyler, 30, got her start as a model but quickly turned to acting. She has starred in such hits as Stealing Beauty, Inventing the Abbotts, That Thing You Do!, and Armageddon. She has also played the elf Arwen in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Langdon moved to New York City in 1994 and was a member of the former rock band Spacehog. The band was formed in 1994 and broke up in 2002. They had three studio albums Resident Alien, The Chinese Album and The Hogyssey.
