I remember, the days when my mom used to feed me while my eyes glued to the television screen, showcasing series of cartoons one after another. As a child I was barely amused by anything else other than watching cartoons and reading comics. The timings of my favorite shows, DuckTales, The Simpsons, The Flintstones, Tom & Jerry, The Lion King, and a lots more, were on the tip of my memory. I simply enjoyed watching them for hours and hours, laughing and giggling spontaneously. I used to be so engrossed that, thousand calls from my mom couldn't take my attention away from the screen. Today, I still take avid interest to collect DVDs of the most adored cartoon characters. I watch them to sweep into the happy world of animation, disconnecting myself from the stress of the fast paced life.

And I thank to Walt Disney for gifting us with so many wonderful characters, that have established a connection with real life. Cartoon shows featuring animals have rocked as well. The Sylvester and Tweety mysteries featuring the pussy cat, Tweety bird, Looney Tunes and Granny, was popular among children. The mischievous cat and rat in Tom and Jerry has created history in the world of animation, being loved by everyone. Other popular shows included Scooby Doo, Garfield, The Lion King, Road Runner, Mickey Mouse, The Bugs Bunny, Hoppity Hooper, etc. Walt Disney has also gifted us actions heroes, creating fans across the entire world.
