Liquid Angels

Liquid Angels flow contentedly from beneath,
As I saturate my prayers to the moon mirrored sea..
Lying in the temperate sand, I gaze at the heavenly firmament above..
Clouds spiraling and blending into the fate of God's love.

Hushed by the night, my dispirited thoughts doth bloom.
Blasting through the quiet, my grief, I consume..
Rippling waves kiss my dewy skin,
As I long for my passions to come forth once again..
I gave my heart to the maker of my being..

Only to be crushed by the very faith of my believing..
Shared visions encase this contingent holy grail..
Not the last to fall, never the last to fail..
In my wake, I knew you were there for a definitive reason..

Not to magically clear my pain, but to warm from the truth I freeze in..
Where is this path to cleanse my ugly spirit?
Tell me my God! I can't seem to hear it!
Sudden darkness still seems to creep from inside..

No sanctuary to guard my fury, I know, I've tried..
I walk this earthly plain, alone, as it has been..
I am only here to say, we are no longer my friend...
Liquid Angels, you do flow so free,
As I now douse my tears over the moon mirrored sea..
