Lindsay Lohan Returns to L.A.

Lohan reported back to Los Angeles over the weekend and was scheduled to be on set of her latest film Dare to Love Me on Monday morning. Lohan reportedly spent a quiet evening with friends on Sunday night. She went tanning and then took in the movie Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Lohan’s mother, Dina, reportedly said, "Lindsay is very happy and her life is back in control."

Lohan was preparing for her role as a tango dancer for her latest film when she was arrested for DUI in July. Shortly after her arrest Lohan checked into the Cirque Lodge in Utah where she remained for the better part of two months. She checked out of the facility earlier this month and says her time at the Lodge was a "life changing experience." Lohan claims to have turned her life around and said that the best thing for her to do is stay out of Los Angeles and away from temptation.

The trip to the Cirque Lodge was Lohan’s third trip to rehab this year. She spent time in the Wonderland Treatment Facility in January. She was arrested in May for DUI and it was reported that she also had cocaine in her system. That arrest led her to enter rehab for the second time this year. Lohan completed a 30-day stint at Promises Treatment Facility and then opted for the extended care program of 15-days. Eleven days after checking out of rehab she was arrested again. Supposedly this time is different…Lohan has reconnected with her father Michael, also a recovering addict, after a three-year estrangement and is dating a new guy, snowboarder Riley Giles, so maybe this time will be different…
