Lindsay Lohan Rehabs

Lohan released a statement through her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, that said, "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time." Lohan reportedly arrived at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday at approximately 2:30 p.m. She arrived in an SUV and was carrying a Jamba Juice. A friend of Lohan’s said, "Lindsay is in a very positive frame of mind and is looking forward to making a positive change in her life."

In December it was reported that the actress was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for about a year. She also said at the time, "I haven’t had a drink in seven days. Or anything. I’m not even legal to, so why would I? I don’t drink when I go to clubs. I drink with my friends at home, but there’s no need to. I feel better not drinking. It’s more fun. I have Red Bull." Lohan said, "I was going out too much and I knew that, and I have more to live for than that."

Lohan has been filming her latest movie I Know Who Killed Me, but production was halted two weeks ago when Lohan had surgery to remove her appendix. Now with her in rehab there is no telling when filming will start up again. Lohan has claimed time and again that she is not a "party girl," but she has enjoyed her fair share of partying. Late last year it was rumored that she had overdosed after a doctor was called to her suite at the Chateau Marmont. Her mother, Dina Lohan, doesn’t seem to be too much of a role model. Sources say that Dina is just as into the party scene as young Lindsay…and with both of them out partying and Daddy Lohan in jail…who takes care of the younger siblings – Ali, Dakota, and Michael?
