Lindsay Lohan & Mom Fighting?

It has been reported that Lohan and her mother have been fighting like cats and dogs lately. At a birthday bash for Mama Lohan on September 14 the two allegedly got into a huge spat. The birthday dinner was held at Philippe, a New York City restaurant. An onlooker said that Dina Lohan, 44, started picking on Lindsay and the two got into a huge fight. A source said Lindsay "was miserable." The source went on to say that Lindsay eventually stormed out of the restaurant telling her mother to "go to hell." No word on what actually started the fight.

A friend of Lindsay’s claims that she has been trying to change her life and is "living clean." Another source claims Dina is still living the party lifestyle and is annoyed that she no longer has a party partner in Lindsay. The source said, "[Lindsay] is no longer a teenager. She needs her mother less in a managing capacity and more as a family member."

The Lohan family has had their share of family drama. Papa Lohan, Michael, is serving a four-year jail term for various charges including attempted assault, DUI, and parole violations. The Lohan’s divorced in December 2005. Lindsay has said of her father, ""[My father] didn't do anything for my career except go out and not come home at night and make my mom and me stay up and wonder where he was and then show up three days later." She has always stood by her mother’s side and, despite their recent alleged spat, probably always will.
