Lindsay Lohan Hired as Artistic Adviser for Ungaro

Apparently, Lindsay Lohan knows fashion. At least, the people at Ungaro things she does. She has been hired by the French fashion house and is being paired with designer Estrella Archs to establish a new consumer-led business model for the company. "A designer only-led fashion house isn't enough, so we're adding a super consumer who gives us a direct channel to consumers," said Ungaro CEO and president Mounir Moufarrige.

That pretty much sums it up right there. Because of Lohan's well-respected style and taste in fashion, she is being brought in to become the mouthpiece for would-be buyers and other fashionistas who represent the target market for Emanuel Ungaro.

The first join Lohan-Archs fashion collection is scheduled to debut on October 4 at Paris Fashion Week. The designer also brought in Lohan to breathe some life into a dying brand that as seen its market age and its status fade.

It is unknown if other celebrities were considered for the position or whether Lohan applied directly. You have to admit that its a great gig for an actress who otherwise probably wouldn't be too busy with projects.

The investigation into the break-in at Lindsay's home is still ongoing, although authorities have surveillance video of the burglars as they entered and exited her home.
