Lindsay Lohan Faces Seven Misdemeanors
Troubled actress was charged with seven misdemeanor counts on Thursday avoiding any felony charges.

Authorities announced Thursday that Lohan will be charged with misdemeanors after tests showed she was in possession of less than .05 grams of cocaine which is required for a felony charge. Lohan is reportedly being charged with two counts of driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol count of over .08 percent, being under the influence of cocaine, and reckless driving. Lohan faces only a few days in jail if convicted of both DUI’s. The charges stem from her arrests in May and July. Lohan is currently enjoying her third stint in rehab this year at the Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah.
Lohan, 21, was arrested in May in Beverly Hills after crashing her car into some trees. She left the scene of the accident and was found at a local hospital being treated for minor injuries. She was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and it was later reported that she had cocaine in her system at the time of the accident. The day after her arrest Lohan was back on the party scene, but ended up in Promises Treatment Facility the next day. This was her second trip to rehab. In January she entered the Wonderland Treatment Facility, but was spotted clubbing immediately after checking out of the facility. Lohan seemed to take her second trip to rehab pretty seriously, even extending for a 15-day extended care program. Upon leaving the facility Lohan made a big to do about wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet on her ankle in an attempt to deter the media from commenting on her nightlife habits. Sure enough the day after checking out of Promises. Lohan flew to Vegas and began clubbing again.
Eleven days after checking out of the facility Lohan was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and cocaine possession. Lohan was arrested in Santa Monica after a high-speed car chase in which she commandeered a vehicle with three passengers in it and chased the mother of her former assistant. She then ended up at the Cirque Lodge. Could it be that this time it will actually make its mark on Lohan?
