Lindsay Lohan: Drugs Involved in Crash

Lohan was arrested on May 26 after crashing her Mercedes at approximately 5:30 a.m. Officers responded to a call about the crash, but when they arrived at the scene neither Lohan, 20, nor her car were there. Her car was found in a parking lot near the scene of the accident and Lohan was found at the local hospital. She was treated for minor injuries. There were two other passengers in the car, but neither passenger was hurt in the accident. Police also found a substance that they identified as "a usable amount of cocaine" at the accident.

Jane Robison, the D.A.’s spokesperson, reportedly said that they are still getting all of the information about the incident and Lohan has not yet been charged with a crime. Lohan is expected to be arraigned on August 24. Lohan’s wild weekend didn’t end there. Despite that she wrecked her car and was arrested on Saturday, Lohan went and partied it up on Sunday. She partied so hard that she was spotted stumbling out of Teddy’s at about 4 a.m. with her pal Samantha Ronson. Lohan reportedly collapsed and a bouncer picked her up and placed her in the front seat of her car. The next day pictures of Lohan looking lifeless and with her mouth hanging open hit the Internet.

Lohan checked into the Promises Treatment Facility on May 29 and has reportedly been very focused on her recovery. Her mother, Dina, even announced this week that she would be extending her stay at the program. This is the second time this year that Lohan entered rehab, In January, she entered the Wonderland Treatment Facility, but once she checked out of the facility she was back to her old tricks. Maybe this time she realizes the severity of her situation. Hopefully she will be able to handle it once she is back in the "real world."
