Lindsay Lohan’s Downfall

A source close to the actress claims that Lohan was in a downward spiral before entering rehab and that all of her hard partying ways caught up with her at a Golden Globes afterparty hosted by Prince at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. The source said, "She was a mess. She was stumbling and slurring. Her friends had to take care of her." It was also reported that at one point, Lohan couldn’t find her friends and later was found passed out in a hallway. Two days later Lohan voluntarily checked into the rehabilitation facility the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles.

This latest incident was not the only reason that the 20-year old starlet decided to seek help. A friend of Lohan's reports, "She’s been out of control. She was doing tons of pills, drinking every night." Lohan has always denied that she has a drinking problem or that she was into drugs. Last year she said in an interview, "I don’t drink when I go to clubs." Uh…yeah..ok…Another friend of Lohan’s said, "She was going out every night till 5 a.m., acting crazy. Going to AA meetings wasn’t doing anything for her. She was still drinking."

Lohan reportedly knew that she was jeopardizing her career with her constant partying. It has been reported that producers of her latest film I Know Who Killed Me were forced to pay a higher insurance premium because of her behavior on her last movie Georgia Rule. Lohan was constantly late or out of work due to her partying, which caused major delays and cost a lot of money. Before she entered rehab it was reported that Lohan was late to the set numerous times and was "skating on thin ice" with her bosses. Shooting was delayed on the film because Lohan had to have her appendix removed and now she is in rehab. Hopefully she can get her act together, or great actress or not, she won’t be able to work again.
