Lindsay Lohan Doused with Flour in Protest of her Apparel

Lindsay Lohan was doused with flour at a nightclub this weekend in what appeared to be a PETA attack on the actress over her choice to wear fur.
Lindsay Lohan was doused with flour recently as she and fried Samantha Ronson entered the VIP Room Theater in Paris this past Saturday, a protest of the young actress’s choice of a fur stole. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) claimed responsibility for the attack. In response to the episode, Ronson spoke her mind on her MySpace blog (where else?), noting, "The girl who threw [the flour] acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it’s an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person."

After the incident occurred, the owner of the VIP Room Theater assisted Lohan in dusting off her dress and the black fur stole that was the cause of the attacker’s ire. No word yet on Lohan’s thoughts on the matter, though we get the feeling that Ronson’s view may be a bit better thought out and expressed.

Ronson also wrote on her blog, "It’s a pity that some groups feel the need to assault people as opposed to fighting with words. Whenever I feel the need to vent about something that feels unfair to me I reach for my computer, I don’t run out of the house with abusive intentions. I don’t expect everyone to react the same way, but I do expect people to respect each other." Well put indeed, Samantha. No word on whether Lohan will press charges, but given that the young actress appears to have fallen on the wrong side of the "political correctness" fence with this one, we don’t expect to hear much more about it.
