Lindsay Lohan Denies Doing Drugs

Access Hollywood asked Lohan late Tuesday night if there was "anything she wanted to get out there about the charges against her." Lohan responded to the show’s Billy Bush: "Yes. I am innocent…did not do drugs they’re not mine." She added, "I was almost hit by my assistant’s mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy." Lohan was arrested early on Tuesday after she was involved in a car chase. Police found her in a parking lot at Santa Monica’s Civic Auditorium arguing with someone rumored to be her assistant’s mother. Lohan was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving. A Breathalyzer test was administered at the jail and a small amount of cocaine was found in Lohan’s pocket.

Lohan’s attorney, Blair Berk, said Lohan had "relapsed" and that she was "safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care." It was rumored that Lohan was being shipped off to The Betty Ford clinic, which would be her third rehab facility this year. Lohan checked into the Wonderland Treatment Facility in January and was back to her hard partying ways as soon as she checked out of the facility. She entered the Promises Treatment Facility in May and completed a 30-day stint plus 15-days extended care. When she checked out of the facility she made a big deal about voluntarily wearing a SCRAM bracelet on her ankle which monitors a person’s alcohol consumption.

Despite her assurances that she was sober and her prominently displayed ankle bracelet Lohan was back on the party circuit one day after she checked out of rehab…probably not the best decision…but when was the last time she made a good decision? There have been a lot of rumors since her arrest that her career is over and that no one will want to work with her after her latest troubles. Such a shame to waste so much talent…
