Lindsay Lohan Denies Break-up with Samantha Ronson

This is getting a little ridiculous. Why can't young Hollywood starlets enjoy some peace and tranquility within their whimsical romantic trysts? Now that Lindsay Lohan seems to have put her most dangerous demons behind her - at least for now - she seems to be spending all of her free time updating her MySpace profile to give her fans the "truth".

It must be exhausting. First, you have to sit back and listen to credible news sources like E!, Page Six and TMZ frantically reporting on every excruciating detail of your life. Then they get the stories wrong! What a mess.

Several media outlets claimed that Lindsay and Samantha had gotten into a few public riffs during the holidays and that they appeared headed for a split. But, honestly, who doesn't lose it a little bit during the holidays? If I'm Lindsay Lohan, the last thing I want to do is spend six hours in line at Wal-Mart for a door-buster give-away on the Friday after Christmas. I wouldn't care how many iPod Touches Samantha wanted.

Now that the holidays have mercifully ended for the Lohan-Ronsons, Lindsay was able to update her profile on MySpace to explain briefly that she and Samantha were still very much together. If you listen closely, you can hear a collective sigh of relief coming from...somewhere.
