A source has confirmed that Lohan, 21, checked out of the Cirque Lodge after two months of treatment. She checked in to the facility shortly after her arrest on July 24 in Santa Monica on suspicion of drunken driving and possession of cocaine after a brief car chase. This was Lohan’s second arrest of the year and her third attempt at rehab. While at the Lodge the troubled actress enjoyed therapy that included bicycling, hiking, and whitewater rafting.

A month after arriving at the facility Lohan issued a statement admitting that she was addicted to drugs and alcohol. She said in the statement, "It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs." Sources say that Lohan took her third turn in rehab very seriously and even reconnected with her father, Michael Lohan, after a three-year estrangement. Lohan’s mother, Dina, said of the reunion, "It can only help her recovery. It’s time to mend."

Lohan reportedly treated her first attempt at rehab as a joke. She checked into the Wonderland Treatment Facility in January and as soon as she was out she was back to her old habits of heavy partying, drinking, and drugging. In May, she was arrested for DUI and it was reported that she also had cocaine in her system. That arrest led her to enter rehab for the second time this year. Lohan completed a 30-day stint at Promises Treatment Facility and then opted for the extended care program of 15-days. The day she left rehab she announced she was wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet and promptly jetted off to Las Vegas to hit the party circuit. Eleven days later she was arrested again. Now it is just a waiting game to see whether Lindsay will continue on the straight and narrow or dive back into the world of alcohol, drugs, and heavy partying.
