Lindsay Lohan Cancels 21st Birthday Bash

It has been reported that as of Saturday the nightclub was still advertising that Lohan’s two-day birthday bash would be taking place on July 2, which would be the day after she checks out of rehab. Lohan’s rep said Tuesday, "The party was cancelled officially over two weeks ago. We were confused why PURE was even still promoting it. But Lindsay will not be having the birthday party at PURE and is focusing on her recovery 100 percent."

A spokesperson for the nightclub released the following statement, "We support Lindsay and wish her the best as she is taking car eof personal matters at this time. Due to the unique circumstances, as of this afternoon Lindsay’s birthday party at PURE Nightclub has been canceled. We think the world of her and look forward to working with her in the future." Lohan was allegedly let out of the deal by the club despite signing a contract and already being paid for the gig because she has agreed to appear there at a later date.

Lohan checked into Promises Treatment Facility on May 28 to reportedly battle her addictions to alcohol, cocaine, and other drugs such as OxyContin. This marks the second time the 20-year old has entered a rehab facility this year. In January, she spent 30 days at the Wonderland Treatment Facility but once she was out she was back to her hard partying days. Lohan checked back into rehab after a Memorial Day weekend that ended with her being arrested for DUI and allegedly possessing cocaine. Now we just have to wait and see if two rehabs does what it takes…or if she will continue down the same self-destructive path.
