Lindsay Lohan Calls Her Father a Lunatic…on Twitter, of Course

Lindsay Lohan, who often likes to Tweet in semi-coherent sentence fragments (which, after all, is what the language of Twitter is), has recently taken to the social networking and blogging site to bash her father Michael, whom she has labeled a "lunatic." The tweets were prompted by her father’s apparent attempts to receive conservatorship over her. Michael Lohan has also apparently offered tapes of conversations that he and his ex-wife have had about their daughter’s physical and mental state.

Tweeted Lindsay, "My father is a lunatic & doesn’t even deserve such a title since he’s never been around in my life other than when he’d threaten me & my family." We’re not sure whether Lindsay means that her father doesn’t deserve the title of "father" or "lunatic" but, hey, grammar’s not all that important anyway. Noted Lohan in a further post, "He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life-behind bars."

Lohan also wrote about her sister Ali, who is 15 years old. "It’s so sad to get a phone call from my baby sister just now asking, ‘why is daddy doing this?’ He’s crossed the lines & hurt me and my family 4 the last time." Regarding the potential recording that Michael Lohan referred to, Lindsay’s mother Dina noted that she and her daughter would keep them from coming out. Said Dina, "We’re going to stop it from airing. He is in violation of my order of protection. My attorney sent a cease-and-desist letter, and a copy of my order of protection that I have against him. He is now in violation of my criminal order of protection. He harasses me, and calls my cell phone, which he is not allowed to call."
