Lindsay Lohan’s 21st Birthday Bash

Actress Lindsay Lohan turned 21 on Tuesday and enjoyed a reportedly alcohol-free party with friends and family in Malibu.

The party was a little different than the bash that Lohan had been planning for months before entering rehab on May 28. Lohan was originally supposed to ring in her 21st birthday at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas during a two-day bash. Instead she had a private beach party in Malibu in Tuesday that was pretty low key and spent lounging on the beach and playing beach tennis.

Lohan’s mother, Dina, and her three siblings – Michael, 19, Ali, 13, and Dakota, 11 – all flew in from New York to celebrate the big day. Lohan was also celebrating the fact that she is more than 30 days sober! She reportedly requested a Carvel ice cream cake because it "reminds her of when she was little." And guests were served non-alcoholic beverages including Pepsi and vitamin drinks. Dina Lohan reportedly said, "I can’t believe she’s 21. We’re all so proud of how hard she’s been working to get better."

Lohan’s life took a turn over Memorial Day weekend when she was arrested for DUI after crashing her car early one morning after a night of heavy partying. Police also reportedly found a substance described as cocaine at the scene. Lohan capped off the weekend with some reported heavy drinking and drug use before being photographed looking lifeless in the front passenger seat of her car. She checked into rehab the next day and recently it was announced that she would be extending her stay at the treatment facility. It was also recently reported that Lohan had more than twice the legal alcohol limit in her system, as well as cocaine, at the time of her Memorial Day car crash. No word yet on whether or not she will face any drug charges. She is set to be arraigned on August 24.
