Chapter One

Holly Wood, Los Angeles, California 10:30pm
"It's not that easy" Holly sighed as she leaned against the wall and blew a ring of smoke. "I've already gone. You see sis it only works if you want it to work. Get the picture?"
Lollie glanced at her sister sideways. Her parents had decided to send her off to a private school in Colorado. Away from the Fame and her addiction to the material things that made up the life of the young and rich in holly wood.

Miami, Florida 11:30am
"Delton!" His mother screeched He had learned to tune her out after his first five fights at school. She sounded like a banshee "You know what? You're probably not even listening to me. It's a good thing I already sent those papers out. He'll be leaving tomorrow." Delton's mom said to herself no longer screaming at her son.
"What papers? Leaving where?" Delton said looking down at his mom. She was only five-five while he stood at six three
"Oh so now you're listening? I'm sending you to a private school. In Colorado" his mom said with a smart smirk. She had decided that the cold would calm her son's fire and his spirit to fight over the smallest things
"It's cold there ma. I don't know how to snowboard. I surf." Delton said with a shocked expression of actually having to deal with snow rather than sand
"I told you I was going to send you off if you fought again. Did you think I was joking?" His mom said "Now go. Go finish packing what I started" she said as her son sadly went to go pack.

Houston, Texas 9:45pm
Cheyenne was lying in her room her hand on her stomach and her Rihanna CD blaring loud enough for her to tune out the rest of the world but not loud enough to annoy the neighbors. She sighed looking at a picture of her baby girl, Josie Belle. Her dad would joke that when she got Cheyenne's age she would be a Jazzy Bell with the boys. Cheyenne let tears slip from her closed eyes it was her fault that Josie would never be Cheyenne's age or any age over 3 years old. She blamed herself for not protecting her child from her father. He only wanted to see Belle but that would have ended worse than what it did end. There was a light knock on the door.

"Come in" Cheyenne said her eyes still closed. Her bed sunk in.
"You get a new start." Her father's husky voice said with love for his daughter. He said and laid his rough hands over Cheyenne's
"It should have been me in that coffin. It should have been me not her."Cheyenne said crying. Her father sat her up and embraced her in his big arms. It always calmed her no matter how upset she was
"You get a fresh start my little star" Her father said. "Everything happens for a reason. Remember that and don't forget it" He said "Now are you all packed?"
Cheyenne whispered yes through silent tears. She was ready to leave and get a fresh start she wasn't one to dwell in misery and sorrow, but she knew she would live with what happened to Josie Belle the rest of her life and she would never truly forgive herself for what happened.

Las Vegas, Nevada 5:00pm
Yahya smiled as he counted the money he had just swindled away from some of his classmates. "Well boys I'll be seeing you around. Thanks for the spending money." He said and started his walk home. Yahya had put his money in to his pockets he wasn't one to lose at poker or any kind of gambling game for that matter. His dad owned a casino so he knew how to play the game and win. He wasn't surprised that his mother wanted to send him to a private school in Colorado; He had gotten in a great deal of trouble for gambling and winning three hundred dollars from a teacher not to mention a passing grade for the semester. He only hoped that the teacher at his new school were not good a t poker or any game for that matter. He was leaving in the morning so he hoped some teens would be on the flight so he could play a game of poker maybe Blackjack.
