Like Trusting the Fat Kid to Guard the Cake [Chap 2&3]
Sorry I haven't posted my laptop broke O.o. I hope you guys like this chapter.
Chapter Two
Houston Hobby, Houston, Texas 3:00am
Cheyenne looked around at the business men and women. She was positive that the lady sitting by the window waiting for the same plane was flying on frequent flier miles. From the way she was talking on her blackberry Cheyenne could see that she was a hardworking woman who only wanted to spend more time with her family. Cheyenne respected her for that. The flight started to board.
"Bye Papa" Cheyenne stood and looked at her dad. He put her charm bracelet on her wrist it had a new charm some ballet slippers.
"We had picked them out for her birthday but it seemed more appropriate to give it to you." Her dad said "From her from all of us" he said and hugged his daughter.
"I love you" Cheyenne said "I'll call as soon as we land" she said with a smile and kissed her dad then board the plane
LAX, Los Angeles 2:00am
Lollie was dressed like a snow bunny. Even though her parents were sending her away to learn that there is more to life than hookups and material they had taken her shopping for a new wardrobe and some skis. The plane was already boarding first-class which meant Lollie had to go. She was tired and was going to sit and listen to Lady Gaga on the flight until she woke up then she would be on her laptop the rest of the flight.
"Now. Sally. I want you to call me as soon as you land." Her mom said smiling
"Ok mom I will" Lollie said as she shifted her backpack.
"I love you"
"Love you too mom" Lollie said hugging and kissing her mom before boarding
MIA, Miami, Florida 4:00am
Delton sighed and looked at the planes landing and taking off. His mom sipped a coffee drink from the star bucks
"How do you drink that stuff?"
"It's this or I go back to smoking and I intend to be alive to see my grandchildren" his mom said knowing how much her son hurt for losing his first child and the baby's mother. Her name was Lonnie and Delton was all set to take care of her and their baby but the baby was a still-born and Lonnie died in labor.
"I know ma" Delton said leaning against the chair as his flight started to board
"Looks like they're ready for you guys" His mom said "Now promise me something."
"Sure ma"
"You won't get in to fights over something stupid ok?" She said hugging her son
Delton laughed "Sure ma" he said
"Now come down here so I can kiss you" Delton leaned down and kissed his mom and then board the plane "I love you"
"I love you to mom"
LAS, Las Vegas, Nevada 6:00am
Yahya shuffled his deck of cards. As he set up for a game of solitaire, He was sitting next to a 5 yr old who was in first-class with him.
"Hey Mister" the kid said tapping Yahya "Can I play gold-fish?"
"It's called go fish. Not Gold fish."Yahya said "What's your name?"
"Mickey" the kid said smiling his front tooth missing. Yahya shuffled the cards and dealt so the two could play go fish
"My name's Yahya, but you can call me Yam" he said
"Nice to meet you. Have any fives?" Mickey asked as the game started
Chapter Three
Cheyenne was the first to land. After her came Yahya, Lollie, and last Delton.
"Welcome to Colorado. My new students" a Tall man said to the group. He had his ears, nose, eyebrow, and lip pierced. There was a tattoo on his hand.
"Do you have your hips pierced?" Lollie asked taking her watermelon lollipop out of her mouth to ask the question.
The man had a confused and embarrassed look on his face. "That's an irrelevant question. This way and we'll be going to the school." The group followed the man out of the airport.
"Hi I'm Cheyenne. I'm from Houston" Cheyenne not comfortable with the silence in the bus amongst the four of them.
"Nice to meet you Cheyenne" Yahya said breaking the silence "My name is Yahya I'm from Vegas"
"I'm Lollie I'm from LA" Lollie said sounding like a valley girl
"Delton I'm from Miami. So what's the damage? Why are you guys going to this private school?"
"Well my mom and dad think I'm addicted to a life of material and fame...but isn't everybody?" Lollie asked truly convinced that everyone had a life-like hers
"You need a heavy dose of reality child." Cheyenne said in her thick Creole accent. "I'm going for a fresh start" she said.
"According to my parents I have a gambling problem. I don't think I do. If I had a gambling problem that means I'm a bad gambler but I win all the games I play" Yahya said with a proud smirk.
"I'm here for fighting" Delton said looking at the group "What did you mean you're getting a fresh start?"
"My ex-boyfriend killed my daughter and then tried to kill me." Cheyenne said touching the ballet slippers on her charm bracelet
"That's heavy..."Yahya said
"Some mom you are! Let your own baby girl get killed!" Lollie said in shock. Cheyenne sucked her breath in but didn't say anything back in her defense. What Lollie said was how she felt about her young parenting skills.
"Man shut up! You don't know what it's like to lose a child." Delton said in Cheyenne's defense
"Here we are" The man who picked the group up said as he stopped in front of a large log cabin that you would most likely see on HGTV. The cabin was three stories high and any rich couples's winter home.
"Where all the other kids??" Yahya asked seeing they were the only ones around for miles.
"There are two other students here already. Besides you and the two here already that's all the students that we accepted" The man said "you'll find that your things are already unpacked and in your rooms on the second floor. The third floor is strictly for your school lessons and the first floor is to chill. The fourth floor is strictly for therapy sessions." He said
"So there are only 6 of us here. Talk about private school" Delton said putting emphasis on private
"My name is Mr. Horn" he said "but everyone calls me Yorie"
"Nice to finally meet you Yorie."Cheyenne said walking in to the log cabin style home.
Two blonde blurs ran by Only Yorie noticed
"This Is Yuki and Riku" Yorie said one blonde boy and girl said standing on either side of him "These are the other two students"
"Where did they come from?" The group said in unison since to them they came out of nowhere
"They tend to do that!" Yorie said "Now to your rooms Rise and shine is at 6:00" Yorie said as the group went to their rooms.
