Lifetime of Love

An anniversary poem.
It is the passing of time
The giving of hearts
Walking a line
Merging the parts.

Its the rising of the sun
The growing of a tree
The caring of someone
With whom you share an anniversary.

Its a flare of light
A blinking sign
A force of might
Someone saying you're mine.

Its a burning tear
A drowning sea
Isn't it clear?
It's your anniversary!
