Life Throws Curve Balls
Please note: the events in the story are based upon a true story. Characters are subjected to change personalities frequently. Some names have been altered to keep privacy. This is a story about a girls first love. And what went wrong
I will try to post chapters every week.
Many people believe that everything happens for a reason and you learn from your mistakes. What about when your mistakes take you on an emotional rollercoaster. Are you supposed to hang on or jump off and hope you land on your feet? This is a story about a girl who all she ever wanted was to get along with the people she loved the most.
Life Throws Curve balls.
Thank god it Friday I said as I stepped off that stupid yellow bus that drove at least fifty over the speed limit from picking my ass up from the street near my house to a place I would rather never go to, every weekday at seven thirty in the morning. I slowly whipped my eyes carefully as the sun began to beat on them as I walked towards the front doors of my high school. I would always directly walk straight to the cafeteria where most of my friends would be sitting at the far right hand side. We would always sit down and bitch about how we were all so tired. There weren’t a lot of us though, only usually, Adriel, James, Crystal, Sarah, Patrick and myself on a normal day.
Adriel was the only black guy who hung out with us normally. I would consider him to be one of the best guys you could really trust to hold onto your secrets. We met at school through some mutual friends who don’t really talk to us anymore because its high school and that is what usually happens. James and Crystal were always the on again and off again boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. It amazed me that people like that could go through so much and still have those feelings for each other. Sarah was Crystal’s best friend. She was very logical about everything. She was really easy to get along with but if you were to cross the line, you better believe that she was right there ready to beat the crap out of you. Patrick I would call the loud mouth/stoner of the group. He always was high no matter what time of the day it was. I never really understood why he bothered with that stuff; he was perfectly fine without it.
"It’s seven fifty-five, we better head to class" Crystal said as she grabbed her Tinkerbelle backpack and through it over her shoulder. Crystal and I met at Patrick’s sixteenth birthday party. She had brought her best friend April and her boyfriend at the time; josh. I remember meeting both of them. Josh was a fairly built guy who had amazing blueish green eyes. He was about five foot ten and had brown hair. I found him to be very attractive, but he was her boyfriend and that’s how it was going to stay. Of course, she was now with James which meant he was on the market again. Her best friend April and I clicked right off the bat. She was the same height as josh and was very intimidating. She had told me about her day. She was sent to the police station for the most part of the day because she beat the crap out of a poor girl who crossed her path. After a bit of hearing a very detailed story we became pretty close.
During one of the most boring classes I had actually ever had, I opened my phone to reveal a text message. It was from April.
"Hey girly, did you want to stay over tonight? I want to go to that roller palace; I heard that Josh might be there. Come by my house after your done school."
