UGH ME AND MY SHORT CHAPTERS. Sorry lol.
As soon as Jack and I entered my house two gigantic muscular arms squeezed me tight. They picked me up and spun me around and around and I felt a pair of lips plant a warm wet kiss on my head. "OH YUCK!!! What the crap!?!? Put me down!" I yelled at the hidden attacker since my face was pressed into a rock hard chest.
"Hello sissy!!" Kaleb grinned putting me on my feet.
"Ew you KISSED me!" I said wiping my forehead where his lips had touched.
"I'm aloud to, I'm your brother!" After that Kaleb's eyes set on Jack. His eyes filled with overprotective brotherlyness. Before Kaleb could think i pulled him over and hissed in his ear, "Be nice to this one please, I really like him." Kalebs gold eyes must have seen something in my mirrored ones because he looked Jack over a second time and smile. "Hi I'm Kaleb, nice to meet you!" He offered his hand to Jack and he took it relieved.
"I'm Jack, Nixie's boyfriend."
"Better take care of her or..." I elbowed Kaleb in the side before could finish. "...or Ill have to tickle you."
"Couldn't think of something a little manlier than that?" My dad stage whispered and I cracked up with the rest of the family and Jack.
"Ok, so what in the world is out to get my little sister?" Kaleb asked and put a protective arm around my shoulders. My family, Jack, and I explained the story. Kalebs eyes just got madder and madder, so I squeezed his shoulder and smiled.
"Watch your temper." I whispered in his ear. Kaleb was a mermai- excuse me merPERSON also. And he had a little special talent of controlling water. In fact, Kaleb was a special kind of merperson. He was a water nymph. He was very powerful and more sensitive to water. He was more fish than person, but not a lot. And if anyone could protect me, it would be Kaleb. And because of this if he lost his temper, it would be a mess. One year he lost his girlfriend, one he thought he would marry, and our houses water pipes broke, the bathrooms flooded, and his water mattress popped violently.
"Well, I want Nixie to stay with me at my apartment." Kaleb demanded. "She has to have MY permission to go anywhere, and do anything. And.....that's all I got."
I rolled my eyes knowing well enough Kaleb was going to blow things out of proportion. "Ok whatever." I huffed.
"Good, now right now we are going to go watch Boogie Nights at Kristie's house." Kaleb said.
"NUH UH! No way! I am not going to your little girlfriends house to watch you guys make out practically ON TOP OF ME!! NEW RULE! I have to be with either Kaleb or JACK!"
"I second that!" Jack grinned.
"Denied!" Kaleb shouted.
"How about you mom and dad, yay or nay? You are the last people to say!"
"...He looks like a strong lad, yay.": My dad smiles. I give him a 'thank you' look and he smiles.
"Ok mom, judge us with ur final word."
"Yay," she shrugged at Kalebs WTF look. I laugh and stick my tongue out at Kaleb.
"Now shoo, go watch your little nude-on-roller-skates movie."
Kaleb pushed himself out of the chair with a grumble and slouched to his motorcycle and sped off in the direction of Kristie's house. I gave Jack a triumphant smile and he returned it happily.
"What do you want to do pal?" I slung an arm around Jack as we walked out.
"Wanna go swimming?" he asked motioning to the ocean. I started sprinting to the water at the mention of swimming. He caught up to me and grabbed me, slinging me over his shoulder and running with me.
"What is it with people picking me up today!?" he chuckled and shrugged.
As soon as we were at the shore he used his strength and flew me into the sea and instantly my legs turned into my beautiful fin. My vision became clear underwater and I could see everything. I felt a tug on my tail and look to see Jack touching it, marveling at it. I popped my head out of the water and watched as he stroked it, watching the light reflect off it. His touch made me shiver in the warm water.
He yanked on my fin lightly pulling me closer to him and hugging me against him. My tail wrapped around his body and he laughed. He brought his lips to my awaiting ones and instantly my body loosened as I melted into his warmth. His tongue met mine and I about went crazy. I loved him. I know I did.
