Life is a Contradiction at Times - as are we!

Sometimes we would like to take a decision by tossing a coin. Let’s find out the contradictions that these two sides of a coin illustrate.
Life is a Contradiction at Times - as are we!
Trees rooted deep in the earth,
Compete with the canopy above,
Call upon the bluest skies,
For a drop of water to spring ’em up!

The gentle rumbling river,
That is as pleasing and playful,
Can turn into something dreadful,
When in spate with onrush of flood?

In the cycle of human are birth and death,
Tossed as two sides of the lifetime!
The pleasant, serene moon disappears,
As the glittering sunrays emerge

One stands in front of a mirror,
May not reflect as one assumes,
But do we dare to accept,
This reflection of our true self?

Why our own blooming desires,
Cannot be true even once?
How in the heart of darkness,
You are longing for them to come true?

The child is father of the man,
Whose smiles brighten our day and how!
His quiet sleep through a lullaby is broken,
And he cries aloud, demanding our attention!

Opposite poles attract each other,
The way you hate, the way you love,
Rosy dreams to be united are shattered
When the lovers open their eyes!

In the hands of the almighty,
Nature keeps all well and fine,
All are blessed who prayed or not,
In His own coin of love divine!
