Life Goes On

What I realized after my first break up...
"Baby I have something to tell you {pause} it's about Him"
{Click}
"Well that went smoothly" I said with a sigh
{Ring}
I pick up
"All I want is for you to be happy"
"I’m happy with him" I said
"Ok" he replied flatly
He came over - I cried
He looked at me and smiled and told me I’ll always be in his heart
I cried more
I still love him but I love who I’m with more
So life goes on and we all have to deal with it
Grab the hand of a friend or somebody you’re close to
And cry on their shoulder but know that life goes on
And that it will all be ok one day
Let the stars and the moon watch over you
