Life After School Chapter 5
Sasha in hospital, what could be wrong.
"Omg, can the ambulance take any longer," Kellan complained. "Don’t worry," I said as the ambulance pulled up. "They put Sasha on the stretcher and then Kellan hopped onto the ambulance and then they left. Taylor and went and got the car and started driving to the hospital. We arrived like two minutes after they arrived, Kellan was waiting in the waiting room.
"Omg, Kellan is she okay," I asked so worried. "They have managed to stabilize her, and they are now running tests to figure out what caused this," Kellan said so fast we could barely understand. All of a sudden a doctor came walking up to us. "Okay well I have bad news and I have some good news. Sasha has a very rare heart condition and could die. The good news is that we can help her, but only if she has surgery. If she doesn’t have this surgery she will have a relapse in about a week or so. This is your decision, we need a relative to sign the papers if you guys want her to have this surgery," the doctor said. I am her cousin, I am the closet relative she has right now, give me the paper doc," Taylor said. Taylor signed the paper and the doctor went to prep her for the operation. Thirty minutes later she went into surgery.
3 hours later
"Why the hell is it taking so long," Kellan said. "I know she was supposed to be out two hours ago and still there is no news," I said concerned. "Kellan, go home, or go and clear your head. Either you can wait her or wait at home, it is all the same. We will call you when we hear something, I promise," Taylor said. "Fine, I’m going for a walk, call me when you hear something, okay ,"Kellan said. Then he was gone.
1 hour later
"Kellan your just in time, she just got out of surgery," I said. Go see her man, she is in room 38 B," Taylor told him. He goes into the room. Sasha honey, I need to ask you something very serious," Kellan says. "Okay baby, go ahead," Sasha said in a quiet tone. "I’ve been thinking about what happened. I love you so much and I want to be with you forever. I want you to make me the happiest man in the whole wide world. Sasha Lautner will you marry me?" Kellan asked being all romantic.
32 weeks later
"Thank-god I get to leave this hell hole, Sasha exclaimed. "We are all so glad that you are coming home, especially your fiancé," I whispered to her. "What are you two talking about," Taylor asked while walking over. He went and kissed Sasha on her forehead , and then came over to me and lifted me in his arms and kissed me in the most romantic way. "Come on just get a room," Sasha said. Umm how about not," Kellan says. "Lets go home," Sasha said lightening up the mood.
