Lie Down with Me Mommy

A poem from a baby to its mother calling her to enjoy just cuddling up together.
Lie down with me, Mommy.
It’s you I need.
You’re soft and warm
And so comfy to me.
Your heart gives me music
That was sent from above.
I breathe in your scent
And know I am loved.

Lie down with me, Mommy.
Let the world pass us by.
I’ll soothe you, too.
I’ll coo, and I’ll sigh.
I’ll snuggle up close
With my head on your chest.
I’ll rest in your arms.
We’ll know we are blessed.

Lie down with me, Mommy.
Let’s do it today
Before I get old
And just want to play.
