I still remember Mrs. Thomas, the teacher who always came up with beautiful ideas to decorate library bulletin boards. I attribute my love of books to the boards in my school and till today I feel indebted to Mrs. Thomas, for fueling the passion to read. One way to make it interesting is you could start your board with the first 5 presidents for one week and then move onto the next five or you could start with the latest 5 presidents and work your way back.

Flora and Fauna
One of the easiest ways to teach your kids about the local flora and fauna is to have a green theme library bulletin board. Ask your students to adopt a plant or a flower they like and ask them to make cut outs of their adopted plants. This is a good way to teach your kids about arts and crafts along with some local plant knowledge, incorporate it as your monthly bulletin board idea.
