LG Shine KE970 Review

With its full metallic body and a super glossy front display, LG Shine KE970 is definitely post-modern while its counterpart LG Chocolate was a downright Gothic with its dark design.
You should opt for LG Shine if you are looking for sophistication and solidity together because this comes with a steel body and a very smooth, silvery finish.

In fact when it is off, the LCD display of the phone turns into a mirror. It is truly a wonder of the wonders.

For those who like phones with solid builds, LG Shine is very good for you because this weighs comfortably heavy in your hand at 119g though it is only 13.7mm thin. From the day the phone was launched, it has become an instant hit worldwide.

Aside from this, for those who would like to match their phone with their evening gowns, this could be a good-looking fashion accessory or other LG Shine. Let’s scrutinize the phone in detail.

As I have already mentioned, its 2.3" LCD display reflects as a mirror when unused. With 240 x 320 pixels and 262,000 colors, it is extremely vivid. However, the situation is not the same if viewed under sunlight.

Elderly users who usually have difficulties in using flat keypads will find it very comfortable to use because the phone has very large and distinct keys. On the front casing, there you may find also 5 navigation keys just below the LCD display.

On both sides, there are two flat-keys and in the middle, two press buttons with a vertical scrolling button. In this way, you can select easily the Device option, Contacts and a list of nine favorites that you can set up if you want.

Located on the right hand side are headphone and power jack, MP3 button, camera and volume control keys while the left hand side is free of any button.

Located at the back of the phone is the 2mp camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens with auto-focus and has a LED flash for taking pictures at night. A tiny mirror attached there is a sweet little feature that allows you to take your own photo.

You won’t have any problem to store photos or music as long as you have the LG Shine supports Micro SD memory cards (up to 2GB).

The very good thing about LG Shine is its undoing and its LCD display is not subject to scratches but easy to clean instead. Protecting your LG Shine by a leather pouch or a hardy mobile cover is a good idea while it is actually recommended.

At times, however, its buttons are hard to press when it is a bit slippery. What’s more, LG Shine is a total head-turner with remarkable performance to match its eye-catching features. With its reasonable cost of $150, it is definitely worth buying.
